Facilities.
(3-24-08) Antimicrobial resistant microorganisms continue to be
a problem in long-term care facilities, and are of increasing
concern to community-based health providers and individuals as
well. Los Angeles County guidelines for the control and
management of antimicrobial resistant microorganisms in long
term care facilities and community settings were developed
in order to respond to questions and concerns raised by
infection control practitioners, healthcare workers and other
caregivers.
